- App settings and API key preferences — stored locally on your device only, never on our servers
We do not collect, store, or have access to your API keys, interview content, or any data processed by the app.

All AI processing, transcription, OCR, and interview data handling occurs entirely on your local machine and is sent only to your chosen AI provider using your own API key.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
Interview AI itself does not transmit your data to third parties. However, since you bring your own API key, data you process is sent directly from your machine to your chosen provider:
- Your AI Provider (OpenAI / Anthropic / Groq / OpenRouter etc.) — receives your interview questions and context to generate answers. Governed by their own privacy policies.
- Deepgram / AssemblyAI (if you provide a key) — receives audio for transcription. Governed by their privacy policies.
We never receive, store, or process your interview data. All communication goes directly from your device to your chosen provider.

We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

If Interview AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
